Welcome...........
Daisy is a 2008 coloured cob who thinks she is part human, my aims with her is to do dressage, jumping, showing and a mini one day event and have lots of fun along the way!
Dream is a 2010 registered section D who has just started his ridden education.  I plan to concentrate on dressage with him, perhaps upto novice level aswell as showing classes.
I hope you enjoy my blog and the ups and downs of trying to fufill my ambitions!

Lets start at the beginning, the very beginning...........I came to live in Shropshire 5 years ago after a bit of persuasion from the OH, he had inherited a 4 acre field that was clearly crying out for horses (obviously).  It was under strict instructions that I was able to take up my horsey passion if we went ahead with the move (tee hee he regrets that decision now), I have had horses all of my life and ridden since i was very small.

Being from a very busy town and living there all my life it was a big change! We moved to a small Hamlet in the middle of Shropshire, OH was from here so was quite used to having to travel 7 mile to the nearest shops, the local people who walked about in wellies, the mud, the cows trampling everyone's gardens as the farmer drove them through the village and the huge military jets that quite regularly fly over head - let me explain, approx 2 weeks after we had moved and settled in our new home, i was quietly reading a book (before the neddies came along) and heard a massive WHOOSH noise, i swear the house shaked, I dived under the table and frantically rang the OH - i think the end of the world is coming, the house is going to fall down............imagine how silly i felt when he explained to me that it was "just a jet" Oh...............clearly Shropshire was going to be quite different to my old busy home town.

Living in a horsey area and seeing lots of people riding out, and living next to a livery yard the thought of being horseless was getting to me.  A few weeks later i came across a scruffy looking fluff ball in a field close by, i went over to say hello and the said fluff ball came over and nudged me obviously checking me out and trying to mug me for whatever she thought i was hiding in my pockets! After tracking down the owner,  i had the money was handed over and she was mine.  Her name was Daisy, quite fitting i thought.

After a few years she went from this to this!

Above - Daisy approx 18 months old
Right -   Daisy 5 years old

But quite often she looks like this -

A few years later i purchased another yearling, a registered welsh D, a very smart black colt with 4 whites and a blaze, aptly named Dream Maker, perfecto i thought! although his smart looks also came with a very smart, sharp and quick thinking brain.........and he knows it!
and this is when it all began..............

Dream - look at me, me, ME!!!!

Handsome and he knows it!

I hope you enjoy my blog :)
Come back soon
Lots of love xxx
